Since the foundation of Cromaris d.d. the Research and Development department was established as a key business unit, with the aim of improving the production process, product development and meeting the highest standards of quality, food safety, environmental protection and aquaculture sustainability.

Quality Assurance:

- Control of the hygiene of the plant facilities and finished products (The microbiological laboratory)
- Nutritional analyzes of fish with a special focus on the omega 3 fatty acids (The chemical laboratory)
Fish Feed and Sustainability:
- Development of fish feed based on our strategic guidelines of superior product quality and sustainable development
- Monitoring the sustainability of raw materials used in the production of fish feed
- Organization and monitoring of the environment, control of the implementation of measures for proper waste management and overall monitoring of business sustainability
Fish health:
