The key to success and outstanding results are our competent and motivated employees. Diversity and equal opportunities, education and professional development, safety at work and providing business opportunities to the local community are imperatives of Cromaris’ business.
Currently, Cromaris has 600+ employees. Cromaris strategically plans, attracts and hires young talents in accordance with current and future business needs. Adris Group’s successful and recognizable internship program “Future in Adris,” which was implemented in several cycles, was the guideline for Cromaris’ internship programs “Future in Cromaris” and “Careers inspired by the sea.” The internship program provides an opportunity for young educated people to continue learning and developing practical knowledge and skills immediately after completing their formal education and gain the experience necessary for further growth and professional development in one of the leaders of mariculture. During the program, all interns are assigned expert mentors who teach them about their areas of expertise at Cromaris and direct them to departments where they can make the greatest contribution. As part of the aforementioned internship programs, more than 30 interns have been employed so far, who are growing with the company, and a large number of them have already taken on extremely important and challenging management functions.

Cromaris promotes initiatives among its employees with the aim of encouraging unity and employee activities outside of working hours, but also supporting a healthy and active lifestyle and preserving the environment.
In cooperation with “Petar Lorini” Elementary School and locals from Sali on Dugi otok, Cromaris’ employees organized a show for children about biodiversity and the importance of marine conservation, as well as making bioballs. About 5,000 bioballs were made, which in the second part of the project, after cleaning the port in Salim, were thrown into the sea by elementary school students and Cromaris and local volunteers together for the purpose of restoring the seabed and preserving the biodiversity of the seabed.
Every year, Cromaris connects more and more with the local and tourist communities in the organization of various events for the promotion of local heritage and customs, such as Tunuara Kali. Cromaris sponsors various sports events in the wider Zadar area, for example the Škraping race on the island of Pašman. Cromaris runners traditionally participate in the Wings for life race. In 2024, the international Bike to Work Day was celebrated for the fourth time, promoting cycling as a healthy and environmentally friendly alternative to driving a car. The three happiest employees who came to work by bicycle won valuable prizes, the first of which was a new bicycle.
