In the first half of 2024, Cromaris generated revenue from the sale of goods and services in the amount of 51 million euros, which is three percent more than in the first six months of last year. Volume sales of 6,487 tons of fresh fish equivalent were achieved, which is at last year’s level. Cromaris still achieves a high share of sales on foreign markets – 87 percent of volume sales and 86 percent of sales revenue. In the export markets, the highest revenue growth was achieved in the French market. In the portfolio of differentiated products, which accounted for 41 percent of revenue in the first half of the year, the greatest growth was achieved by the newly farmed species of Adriatic dentex and Greater Amberjack, as well as organic fresh fish.
Profit before interest, tax and depreciation (EBITDA) is at last year’s level and amounts to EUR 6.6 million, while net profit is EUR 2.2 million and is nine percent higher. With the newly opened fish store in Vir, Cromaris is expanding its sales network and increasing the availability of top quality and fresh fish. It has confirmed its excellence at the international level as well, winning the prestigious Superior Taste Award for superior quality and taste for all products entered. This further strengthened Cromaris’ position among the producers of the best quality fish in Europe.
