Sashimi is a traditional Japanese raw fish dish.

Note: A fish for sashimi must be very fresh.

Slice sea bream fillet into thin skinless slices. Serve fresh alongside wasabi paste (green Japanese horseradish), soya sauce and marinated ginger. Popular are also sashimi rolls, fish rolls with a variety of fresh vegetables (red peppers, cucumbers, selenium sticks, young onions..).
