The Quality Assurance Department

Is responsible for the implementation of quality standards, food safety, environmental protection and social responsibility, as well as for communication with customers regarding product quality issues. This department is also led by the team in charge of Food safety, that continuously monitors legislation.

Ensures and supervises the quality and regularity of raw materials, technological process and finished products. When it comes to finished product, apart from control of external parameters, the nutritional composition of the product is also monitored and checked.

The Laboratories and Product Development

Department deals with the improvement of existing and development of new products, packaging development and analysis of competitors’ products. They also manage the technical definition of the product. Three microbiological, chemical and food control laboratories continuously conduct analyzes that support other departments. The microbiological laboratory controls the hygiene of the plant facilities and finished products, the chemical laboratory conducts nutritional analyzes of fish with a special focus on the omega 3 fatty acids, and lastly we have the laboratory for the control of fish feed.

The Department of Fish Feed and Sustainability

Is in charge of developing fish feed that is composed based on our strategic guidelines of superior product quality and sustainable development. In addition to monitoring the sustainability of raw materials used in the production of fish food, the department is also responsible for the organization and monitoring of the environment, control of the implementation of measures for proper waste management and overall monitoring of business sustainability.

The Veterinary Service

Planning and launching of new species takes place under the leadership of R&D and is a result of collaboration between the Department of Food Development and the Veterinary Service.
