Since the foundation of Cromaris d.d. the Research and Development department was established as a key business unit, with the aim of improving the production process, product development and meeting the highest standards of quality, food safety, environmental protection and aquaculture sustainability.

• Control of external parameters of the finished product
• Control of the nutritional composition of the finished product

Product Development:

• Improvement of existing and development of new products, packaging development and analysis of competitors’ products
• Managing technical definition of the product
• Control of the hygiene of the plant facilities and finished products (The microbiological laboratory)
• Nutritional analyzes of fish with a special focus on the omega 3 fatty acids (The chemical laboratory)

• Monitoring the sustainability of raw materials used in the production of fish feed
