The company’s sales volume in 2021 amounted to 12,421 tonnes of whole fish equivalent, which represents an increase of 20% compared to the previous year. The sales volume of fish products amounts to 11,272 tonnes, which means a growth of 21% compared to the previous year. The export markets reported a 21% growth in volume. Cromaris generates 86% of its quantity sold and 87% of its sales revenue in foreign markets. The company is present in many European markets, including Spain as of November 2021, which is the world’s second-largest market for sea bream and sea bass. The revenue from differentiated products, above all freshly gutted and packaged fish – sea bass, sea bream and meagre fillets – rose by 7%. Sales revenue in 2021 amounts to HRK 613 million, which is 20% higher than in the previous year. In 2021, Cromaris generated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) amounting to HRK 67 million, an increase of 14% compared to 2020. The company generated a net profit of HRK 13 million, an increase of 40%.
