Cromaris achieved record sales in June, selling 956 tonnes of fish and processed products, which is 18 percent more compared to the same period last year. A two percent higher selling price was also achieved, meaning that the sales revenue is about 20 percent higher than that from June 2019. In the first six months of this year, due to the impact of the crisis caused by the coronavirus, Cromaris achieved slightly lower sales than last year, but thanks to a two percent increase in selling prices, revenues are expected to be at last year’s level. “Cromaris has successfully reversed the negative sales trends caused by the coronavirus, achieving a big sales growth during June. This is the result of constant investments in quality and adaptation to the needs of our consumers. During the pandemic, Cromaris delivered its products to customers on a daily basis, even to Italy. At the same time, we have worked on innovations and new projects. Cromaris sea bass has been awarded the Crystal Award by the International Taste Institute in Brussels, which is the highest recognition in the Mediterranean fish industry. At the beginning of 2020, Cromaris held 3.12 percent of the market share in the global Mediterranean fish industry. We are on a stable path to further increase our market share, which will confirm Cromaris as one of the world leaders in its industry,” said Goran Markulin, CEO of Cromaris.
