Cromaris j.s.c., as a member of the Adris Group, aims to be a leader in Mediterranean aquaculture, contributing to the overall development of the industry precisely with its knowledge, experience, responsible business practices and innovations.
Commitment to sustainability has been an integral part of our corporate culture for many years, and global sustainability challenges have moved into the spotlight in recent years, motivating us to further accelerate our efforts. During 2022, work continued on the further definition of strategic ESG determinants and goals of Cromaris, as part of its own sustainability strategy and within the ESG strategy of Adris Group, and on the establishment of an effective ESG organization at all levels of the company. Among other things, this refers to the constant increase in quantity of farmed BIO fish, turning to sustainable energy sources, introducing the principles of the circular economy, using fish feed and raw materials from sustainable sources. In addition, we have completely eliminated antibiotics in production, we protect biodiversity and marine ecosystems, we initiate and participate in activities that contribute to the development of the local communities in which we operate.
Cromaris is proud of its dedicated approach to sustainability in aquaculture, and makes efforts to continuously improve its processes, therefore we are extremely proud to publish the annual Sustainability Report for the third year in a row, and in this way set an example of responsible business practice for other producers of sea bass and sea bream in the world.
